I have been taken pictures in & of NYC since 2011 and this collection shows my favorite pictures of each year. I enjoy taking pictures "on the spot" and in the moment without any sort of setup, preparation, or professional equipment. When I notice an interesting motive, an angle that I like, or a moment of something happening in the street, I simply point & shoot, using digital cameras and in the vast majority without even a tripod, which I occasionally do bring along when I intend to take pictures after dark.
This hobby of mine has taken me to many interesting walking tours through many neighborhoods in the boroughs but by far not all of them. I encourage everyone that lives in the city or that comes to visit to take the time and just go exploring. I hope you enjoy the journey and you brought some time to browse through the galleries on this page.
Many of the photographs are quite nice as stand-alone pictures to hang on the wall by themselves in a nice frame, but many others work best when used in a set of at least 4-5 pictures, as they portray the impressions you will get on a random exploration of the city's neighborhoods and streets. Grouping the photographs, in whichever pattern and order one may choose, best represents the diversity and variety of this great city that I am trying to capture with these collections.
